A household kitchen brand

About Cook It Anyway

Cook It Anyway is the site brand for realistic weeknight dinners. The lines say it: Tired tonight? Cook it anyway. Trust me — you’ll love it.

Chef Merin is the home cook behind the recipes — a household kitchen voice, not a restaurant, not a catering business, and not a claim of culinary school, restaurant-line years, or professional chef credentials.

We are home cooks in the Pittsburgh area, cooking for our own table and building a healthier weeknight style one plate at a time. Some nights we are too tired to invent, and the plate is a mix we might not have put together on our own — and it still comes out great and easy. That is the “Trust me.” We use whole-food ingredients, modest portions, one-pan meals, and dinners that usually land in about thirty minutes. Clean flavors, no deep fryer, and a rotation that keeps Tuesday from feeling like Monday warmed over.

We develop and adjust these recipes ourselves, with help from everyday online tools when we need a second set of eyes on timing, seasoning, or nutrition estimates. Every public card is 4 servings.

This site does not sell recipes, grocery boxes, or meal kits. We are not owned by Plan to Eat and we do not work for them. We only promote their product because we use it ourselves — it makes collecting recipes, planning a week of meals, and building a shopping list much easier for home cooks. If you sign up through our optional referral link, you get 20% off your first year of Plan to Eat, and this site earns a small affiliate commission. Thanks for your support. That is the only way we make money for this site.
